Your comment makes no sense to me.
Among those who have posted comments so far, Will, you are now 1 for three on making sense. Assuming it makes sense to you, that is.
I debated on the best way to put my comment, but apparently failed.
My point is that scientists ignore their own method in determining their conclusions. For example; If I, as a scientist, ignore important climate factors because I believe I know what is going to happen, i.e the world will get progressively warmer, there is a good chance my conclusion will be wrong.

That was one of my possible interpretations of your comment. I agree with you: at the point when science ceases to follow the laws and methods of science, it ceases to be science. The Big Bang Theory also comes to mind.
