Schmap London Guide

A few weeks ago I received notification that three of my London photos had been nominated for inclusion in the 10th edition of the Schmap London Guide. I have no idea how this happened, and I assume that someone must have search for photos tagged “London” on Flickr and come across mine.

Anyway, I just heard a couple days ago that all three of my nominated photos had been approved and included in the guide. You can view them by clicking the links below:
I don’t know why they picked the photos they did, because they’re not amazing pictures and really weren’t even some of my best ones.

Still it was flattering, and I was able to pretend for about 30 seconds that I was a real photographer.

Observation #8

Any worthwhile accomplishment in life requires a great deal of effort.

An Important Update

Posts have been pretty scarce around here lately as I was frantically preparing for a week of class in Memphis, and then actually attending said class.

I have some stuff in mind that I plan to write about, but before I do so, I wanted to give a personal update of sorts.

I usually don’t spend a lot of time talking about events in my life on this blog, and instead talk more about issues and topics that are interesting to me. But today there was a development in my life that was so monumental that I felt compelled to share it with the world.

Today, for the first time ever, my dog caught a frisbee in his mouth in mid air.

In the words of Louie, this looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
